Jointly built by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education and Shandong Provincial Government, Shandong University of Finance and Economics (SDUFE) was founded in 1952, and was officially unveiled and established on June 9, 2012 through the merger of Shandong Economic University and Shandong University of Finance. Situated in Jinan, the capital city of Shandong Province, also known as the City of Springs, SDUFE is a large-scale university with distinctive characteristics, focusing on Economics and Management, as well as six other disciplines: Literature, Law, Science, Engineering, Education and Art. It enjoys a high reputation and is famous both at home and abroad.
