I.Programs Offered

SDUFE offers the following postgraduate programs for international students: 

1.Chinese-Taught Program: Economics, Management, Law, etc. 

2.English-Taught Program: Master of International Business (MIB), Management Science and Engineering, MBA, Public Organization and Human Resource Management, etc.

II. Eligibility 

Applicants must meet the following requirements: 

1. Nationality: Non-Chinese citizens. 

2. Academic Background:

 -Master's Program Applicants: Bachelor's Degree Certificate and Undergraduate Graduation Certificate recognized by the applicant’s country.

 -Doctoral Program Applicants: Master's Degree Certificate and Postgraduate Graduation Certificate recognized by the applicant’s country.

3. Language Proficiency: 

Master’s Degree Program:

 -Chinese-Taught Program: Valid HSK Level 5 (minimum score of 180) or equivalent Chinese proficiency certificate. 

 -English-Taught Program: Valid IELTS (minimum score of 6.0) or equivalent English proficiency certificate (exempt for native English speakers). 

Doctoral Degree Program:

 -Chinese-Taught Program: Valid HSK Level 6 (minimum score of 180) or equivalent Chinese proficiency certificate. 

 -English-Taught Program: Valid IELTS (minimum score of 6.5) or equivalent English proficiency certificate (exempt for native English speakers).

III. Application

1. Online Application: Submit applications via SDUFE Online Application System (http://istu.sdufe.edu.cn). Applicants are advised to regularly check their email and junk mail for further information. Failure to provide the requested information in a timely manner may result in rejection.

2. Deadline: 31th May, 2026

IV. Required Documents

1. Completed SDUFE International Student Application Form (Generated upon completion of the online application);

2. Scanned copy of the personal information page of your passport; 

3. 2-inch bareheaded passport photo with white background (JPG); 

4. Language proficiency certificate (within validity period); 

5. Resume (for non-current graduate);

6. Two recommendation letters;

7. Personal statement and study plan;

8. Proof of financial support. 

Academic and Educational Materials：

Master's Program Applicants:

1.Official bachelor’s degree certificate and graduation diploma;

2.Official undergraduate academic transcripts.

Doctoral Program Applicants:

1.Official bachelor’s degree certificate and master’s degree certificate;

2.Official academic transcripts from both undergraduate and master’s studies;

3.Master’s thesis or published academic papers.

Note: For official documents not originally issued in Chinese/English, both the original and a notarized Chinese/English translation must be submitted.

2. SDUFE Scholarships: Peiyou Award (Merit-Based), Huawen Award (Chinese Language Excellence), Special scholarship, etc.

VII. Visa and Entry

1. Visa Type: Admitted students will be assisted in obtaining an X1 visa for study in China. 

2. Entry Requirements: Students must apply for a residence permit within 30 days of arrival.

VIII. Accommodation and Campus Life

1. Dormitory: Single or double rooms equipped with beds, desks, wardrobes, private bathrooms and internet access, etc. 

2. Facilities: public kitchens, laundry rooms, gyms, and lounges in dormitories; campus amenities include canteens, libraries, sports centers, and swimming pools, etc.
