About the University

Shandong University of Finance and Economics (SDUFE) is a prestigious finance and economics university jointly established by China's Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education, and Shandong Province. Grading System

Medium of Instruction

Most but not all classes are taught in English. Exchange students are strongly advised to pay attention to the medium of instruction.

Courses

Exchange students are expected to select some Mandarin and Chinese Culture courses. Courses offered in English mainly focus on the areas of Management and Economics.

SDUFE   Transcript

Academic results are released in February and July respectively. This means transcripts will not be available immediately after completion of program. All transcripts will be posted to your home institution.

SDUFE offers four on-campus residential hostels offering two types of living quarters, exchange students are guaranteed a place on campus. 

Please submit your dormitory reservation request to International Students Office before arriving.

Nomination Process

Interested students must be nominated by the home institution. Completed nomination form should be sent to SDUFE at

int_student@sdufe.edu.cn by the nomination deadline.

Application Process

Applicants are REQUIRED to complete the application online and submit the following documents to SDUFE via CUCAS before the 

deadline stipulated.

Note: It is essential to regularly check the email and junk mail for any requests for further information. Failure to provide the requested 

information in a timely manner may result in rejection.

-The personal information page of your passport

-Official transcript from your home university

-Study certificate of enrollment from your home university

-2-inch bareheaded passport photo with white background (JPG)

Student Visa

Application

SDUFE will assist students in applying for study visa in China.

Documents that SDUFE will provide:

-Admission letter

-DQ/JW202 form (Information Form for Foreign Students' Visit) from the local government

After receiving the documents above, please apply for your visa (X1/X2) at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in your country. SDUFE 

will mail these documents to the International Students Office of your university.
